Vice President, Controller, Corporate Accounting

Valerie R. Bingham is vice president and controller of corporate accounting at City of Hope. With nearly 20 years experience in finance, she directs the day to day financial operations for the organization and its affiliates. She is responsible for all financial reporting aspects of the organization, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting, annual audit reporting and tax reporting.

Prior to joining City of Hope, Bingham worked in public accounting as a senior auditor for Andersen LLP.  She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Bingham is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Long Beach.
