Three common items with one common cause

What do hair care products, note pads and mushrooms have in common?

They all in some way support breast cancer programs at City of Hope.

TIGI S-factor, Quill Corporation and the Mushroom Council are supporting breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope. And you can join in the effort when you buy their products.

The fall “Dream for a Cure” promotion from TIGI’s S-factor line has a “Wonderful Tonight” overnight treatment available for sale through Oct. 31.  For each conditioner item purchased from distributors, TIGI will donate $2 for breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope.

During October, Quill Corporation, a division of Staples, seeks to raise approximately $200,000 for City of Hope’s breast cancer research, treatment and education program. Quill will donate $5 for each special coupon redeemed, up to a maximum of $100,000, as well as 30 cents per packet of labels and 50 cents per packet of note pads sold on Quill.com. The program follows an additional $100,000 joint donation from Quill and technology company HP.

The Mushroom Council is demonstrating its support in the fight against breast cancer by donating $50,000 to research by Shiuan Chen, Ph.D., director of the Division of Tumor Cell Biology. The research focuses on the cancer-fighting potential of mushrooms. In addition to their donation, the Mushroom Council growers are creating special pink mushroom packages, which will be available at participating retailers nationwide through mid-November.

You can find more information about these and many other City of Hope partners on the Cause Related Marketing Programs Web page.
