Dig baseball? Want to take a swing at cancer?
Then how would you like to earn a chance to see Major League Baseball’s next World Series in person while supporting City of Hope? It’s easy; you can do it right from a computer screen.
Play the Go To Bat online game, and you’ll team up with State Farm and Major League Baseball (MLB) to support City of Hope.
Simply sign up, choose “Health” from the drop-down menu under “Category,” and City of Hope from the “Charity” drop-down menu. Then, swing for the fences. The more home runs you hit, the more entries — to a maximum of 10 — you’ll get in the weekly drawing.
If your name is drawn, you win a trip for two to games three and four of the 2010 MLB World Series. And City of Hope will receive a donation of $100 from State Farm for every home run hit by MLB players during that same week, up to $25,000.
The charity with the most total entries at the end of the season also will be awarded $25,000, so spread the word.
