An image from the television adsCity of Hope’s new cable television advertising campaign begins airing the week of Feb. 20. Ads appear on Charter Communications and Adelphia cable channels in the San Gabriel Mountains foothill area.

"The television campaign works closely with our other advertising – radio spots, billboards and print ads – to create greater exposure for City of Hope," said Vicky Hoffman, senior director of advertising for City of Hope. "The advertising tagline, 'Science Saving Lives,' positions the institution as a leader in scientifically advanced cancer care."

Ads run for 30 seconds each. There are two versions and, due to their brevity, they highlight only three cancers in each version. One version highlights breast, lung and colon cancers; the other features prostate, lung and colon cancers.

The ads will appear on major cable networks, including A&E, CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, Lifetime, The History Channel, CNBC, TNT and AMC.
