Major League Soccer’s Chivas USA will play the New York Red Bulls on Sept. 26, a special “Diabetes Health and Wellness Night” dedicated to educating Los Angeles-area residents about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet and exercise routine.

“We are grateful for the support from Chivas USA to help us raise awareness for diabetes,” said Steve Martin, associate vice president of marketing. “Together, we address a great need to educate the community about diabetes and to help City of Hope bring innovative, lifesaving diabetes research and treatments to patients with this serious disease.”

The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center, 18400 Avalon Blvd., Carson. Employees may purchase discounted tickets for the game for $18. They are available online only by entering promotion code HOPE at www.cdchivasusa.com/celebratehope.
