The event lets guests stroll through downtown Sierra Madre, Calif., while sipping wine, sampling foods from local eateries, visiting shops and listening to jazz bands along the way. Guests can also enter drawings for one-of-a-kind prizes. The event will take place at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Sierra Madre Boulevard from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 8.

This year’s event features a return of the San Antonio Winery VIP Wine Garden. San Antonio Winery will offer rare, premium wines and pairings. The VIP Wine Garden is open from 7 to 10 p.m.

Employees can purchase tickets on the Duarte campus by calling Lorena Avila at ext. 63316. These tickets will be available Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Oct. 7 (while supplies last).

Development Center employees can buy their tickets from Phil Kong on the 11th floor Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost for City of Hope employees is $35 per ticket. The regular ticket price is $40; ticket price at the door is $50. The all-inclusive VIP Wine Garden package, which includes entry for the Wine & Jazz Walk, is $120; separate Wine Garden-only tickets are unavailable. Cash or checks only. Employees must show their City of Hope identification badges to receive the discount.

In the six years since its inception, the Sierra Madre Wine & Jazz Walk has raised nearly $330,000 for research, treatment and education at City of Hope. For more information, contact Phil Kong at pkong@coh.org.
