City of Hope physicians nearly tripled their presence in this year’s “Top Doctors” issue of Pasadena magazine, with 65 specialists featured. The tally represents more than 30 percent of City of Hope’s physicians.

The magazine’s list of doctors includes some 950 health professionals in the San Gabriel Valley across a variety of specialties. It was compiled based on a survey sent to thousands of doctors in the Greater Los Angeles area, with Pasadena magazine asking medical professionals to nominate and vote for esteemed physicians in their respective practices and specialties.

“I am very proud of the number of doctors who were featured in the ‘Top Doctors’ list this year,” said Alexandra Levine, M.D., M.A.C.P., chief medical officer and Dr. Norman & Melinda Payson Professor of Medicine. “This honor exemplifies their commitment and success in providing superior patient care.”
