Diabetes Clinical Services
The Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism at City of Hope's Leslie and Susan Gonda (Goldschmied) Diabetes and Genetic Research Center offers a total care program that combines detailed treatment with continuing education, so people living with diabetes have the medical care and information they need to achieve optimal quality of life. Diabetes Foot Care
Diabetes and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program
Diabetes Education Program
Islet Cell Transplantation Program
Physicians deliver quality, comprehensive and full-service diabetes care from the Brawerman Outpatient Clinic. Using a team approach, a physician, diabetes nurse educator, and dietitian access and treat all aspects of a patient's disease. Foot and eye care exams are also provided on a routine basis, along with preventative services and treatment for podiatric and ophthalmic problems.
