Unlike other treatment centers affiliated with universities, City of Hope is an independent biomedical translational research and treatment center. This freedom accelerates groundbreaking treatments by removing traditional time-consuming barriers between researchers and physicians so discoveries can quickly translate into effective therapies.
- City of Hope manufactures many of its own treatments following strict FDA guidelines, and tests them in Phase I and II clinical trials.
