On April 6, 2008, Carrie Nesvig and Liz Retz ran the More Magazine Half-Marathon in NYC's Central Park. Stemming from a combination of Carrie's motivation and a small dare from Liz, the decision to run was made.

On November 19, 2006, Katie Worth and Christina Ciafone undertook the challenge of running the Philadelphia Marathon in honor of Tim. As dear friends of Carrie Nesvig, Katie and CC raised $3,728 from friends, family and colleagues, hoping to help lymphoma patients cross their own finish line.
