The chapter movement was the genesis of City of Hope when a group of individuals banded together to make a difference for those suffering from disease.
More than 90 years later, our chapters—volunteers who form a group to raise money for City of Hope—are still a huge part of City of Hope's fund-raising efforts. Through everything from gala dinners and luncheons, thrift stores, fashion shows, personal major gifts, participation in national events such as walks and marathons, to trips and tours, chapters raise millions of dollars annually to fund treatment and research.
