Musculoskeletal Tumors

Patients with musculoskeletal tumors arising from bone or soft tissues, usually in the limbs, enjoy a brighter prospect at City of Hope.  Our team of health care experts provides coordinated, comprehensive care integrating new and powerful anticancer drugs, with strategies to spare patients' limbs.  This means both a better chance of survival and a better quality of life.

Led by Judith K. Sato, M.D., professor of pediatrics and a recognized City of Hope researcher and oncologist, the Musculoskeletal Tumor Program at City of Hope is the largest in Southern California.*  Sato's leadership influences a worldwide clinical cooperative group forming treatment standards for childhood cancers.  Our unique musculoskeletal program combines a compassionate patient-centered ethic with robust and aggressive research.
