Program Goals
To uphold the mission of the program:
- Students will develop a level of didactic and clinical competence in the art and science of radiation therapy that will provide successful entry into the profession.
- Students and graduates will communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing care for their physical, emotional and educational needs while being sensitive to appropriate cultural and age specific concerns.

Students will learn to function and communicate as essential members of the radiation therapy treatment team and will perform this function effectively as graduates.

Students and graduates will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills and will apply them effectively in the classroom and clinical situations
- Students will successfully complete all graduation requirements, pass the national certification exam and secure employment in the field recognizing the need for lifelong learning and professional development.
- Graduates will report a high degree of satisfaction with the educational experience in regard to quality of instruction and the fulfillment of their education, safety and personal needs.
- Employers of graduates will report a high degree of satisfaction with graduates performance.
