U.S. News & World Report names City of Hope one of "America's Best Hospitals" for cancer and urology
City of Hope has been named one of "America's Best Hospitals" in two specialties by U.S. News & World Report. The institution is one of only five centers in California, and one of only two in the Los Angeles area, to appear on the cancer list; and is one of only six hospitals in California ranked in urology. JCAHO Accredited
City of Hope has received full and unconditional accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's most widely recognized health care accrediting body.
Patients Surveyed Rate City of Hope Highly
Patients gave City of Hope the highest possible rating (three stars) in all categories for combined medical and surgical services in the Patients Evaluation of Performance in California (PEP-C II) survey. City of Hope is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
In recognition of City of Hope's excellence in cancer research and treatment, City of Hope has been designated a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Only a handful of cancer centers nationwide receive this highest honor in cancer research, which recognizes those conducting the most promising, leading-edge research.
