Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer
Stephanie Neuvirth is chief human resources and diversity officer at City of Hope and a member of City of Hope’s Executive Team. Her responsibilities include overseeing all areas of human resources such as compensation, benefits, employee and labor relations, organizational design, succession planning and leadership development, training and professional development, selection and talent acquisition, performance management and diversity. She leads strategic identification, development and implementation of comprehensive human resources strategies, programs, policies and procedures to support the institution’s short- and long-term goals.
Neuvirth has more than 20 years experience in human capital strategies for several global and regional companies. Before joining City of Hope, she was responsible for the design and implementation of human resource strategies as vice president of people and organization for Mars Food, North America. Prior to Mars Inc., Neuvirth served as director of enterprise talent acquisition for the Walt Disney Company, chief human resources officer/vice president of human resources for Advantage Sales and Marketing LLC and vice president of human resources for Acosta Sales and Marketing/Kelly-Clarke Inc.
Neuvirth received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Denver and her Master of Business Administration from Alliance International/USIU in San Diego. She has taken additional coursework at Harvard Business School, University of Michigan and The Henley Business School in the U.K., and is a certified senior professional in human resources.
