Senior Vice President of Development

Alan LeveyAs senior vice president of development at City of Hope, Alan S. Levey is responsible for oversight of all Southern California chapters and regional offices including Palm Desert, Florida, Chicago and Philadelphia. He is also responsible for national chapter development, the direction of the Ambassador Leadership Council and the production of National Convention.

Additional responsibilites include the strategy and development of City of Hope's Next Generation of volunteers, as well as working on the creation of an institutional museum and expanded Visitors Center, Heritage House.

Levey joined City of Hope in April 2001 after serving as a volunteer for over 20 years within City of Hope's Food Industries Circle.

Previously, Levey was owner, president and chief operating officer of Normark & Associates, the largest perishable food brokerage company in the United States. Additionally, he was a general manager and shareholder of Acosta, the country’s largest sales and marketing company.

Levey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management at San Diego State University,  with a minor in psychology.
