 Michael Rabin

Vice President of Managed Care

Michael Rabin is currently the vice president of managed care and business operations at City of Hope. Rabin has been with City of Hope for more than ten years. 

In his current position he successfully negotiated new contracts and implemented rate increases for the medical center. More recently, Rabin assumed responsibility for the Physician Support Departments, New Patient Services, Admitting and PBX.

Prior to joining City of Hope, Rabin was at Providence Health System (Los Angeles Service Area) for three years. As the financial operations manager in the Managed Care Department, he negotiated managed care contracts for Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. 

Rabin earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 1999, and a Master of Public Administration degree in 1994 from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in 1991.
