Paul BlodgettPaul Blodgett was named senior vice president of development in 2005. An accomplished professional in the field of academic fundraising, Blodgett is responsible for managing City of Hope’s fundraising programs.

Before joining City of Hope, Blodgett was the senior associate vice president for university advancement at the University of Southern California (USC). While at USC, Blodgett served as director of USC’s “Building on Excellence” campaign, one of the most successful fundraising drives in higher education. His experience also includes leadership and management roles in two prior campaigns at USC, as well as the first-ever comprehensive campaign at University of California, Los Angeles.

Blodgett attended California Lutheran College in Thousand Oaks, Calif., earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He also earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington in Seattle.
