Chief Information Officer

Paul J. ConocentiPaul J. Conocenti is chief information officer at City of Hope. In this role, he provides leadership and strategic direction for information technology and oversees the evolution and implementation of the information technology strategic plan. 

Conocenti has a 30-year history of demonstrated success in informational technology. He joined City of Hope in 2011 from New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center, where he served as senior vice president, vice dean and chief information officer. He was responsible for all information technology products and services at NYU Langone, as well as the NYU School of Medicine and four NYU hospital centers, including the NYU Clinical Cancer Institute. 

Prior to NYU Langone, Conocenti served as vice president and chief information architect for Mount Sinai NYU Health System. He also held leadership positions at Citibank, N.A., Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch, all in New York. 

Conocenti holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and business from the State University of New York at Albany.
