Vice President of Development - Major Gifts

Photo of Tina PakfarAs vice president of development - major gifts, Tina Pakfar is responsible for capital projects and fundraising interactions with clinical faculty. She also provides leadership for City of Hope’s grateful patient fundraising program.

Prior to joining City of Hope, Pakfar served as executive director of development at the University of Southern California (USC) Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. There she was integrally involved in major gifts, annual fundraising, planned gifts and corporate foundation giving. Under her leadership, the institution raised $92 million for the 2007-2008 fiscal year, the most successful in the cancer center’s history.

Pakfar received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Woodbury University and executive master’s degree in leadership from USC, and is a doctoral candidate for the university’s School of Policy and Planning and Development.
