"Curious," an inspiring documentary about an innovative clinical trial involving City of Hope and Caltech, is slated to air on public television in several cities nationwide beginning Jan. 2. The trial tests a promising new cancer therapy that delivers chemotherapy drugs using nanoparticles, which minimize the adverse effects of the drugs on the rest of the body.

City of Hope's Yun Yen, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Department of Clinical & Molecular Pharmacology, and Stephen Forman, M.D., the Francis and Kathleen McNamara Distinguished Chair in Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation, are featured along with Mark Davis, Ph.D., Warren and Katharine Schlinger Professor of Chemical Engineering at Caltech.
