City of Hope supporters can catch a live Chivas USA soccer match while learning about diabetes.

Major League Soccer’s Chivas USA will play the New York Red Bulls on Sept. 26. It’s a special “Diabetes Health and Wellness Night” dedicated to educating Los Angeles-area residents about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet and exercise routine.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.,and discounted tickets for the game cost just $18. (Regular price is $26.) They’re available online only at www.cdchivasusa.com/celebratehope, and you must enter the promotion code: HOPE.
