A recent major study reported that women who smoke as few as 100 cigarettes significantly increase their risk of getting breast cancer. The researchers cite the study as evidence that women can reduce their risk of getting the disease if they immediately stop smoking. The American Cancer Society and the American Lung Association have tips for smokers who want to quit. |
