City of Hope is one of four nonprofit organizations to benefit from the “FOX Sports Supports” program, which raises awareness, provides financial assistance and spurs volunteerism for select health-related charities that improve quality of life for millions.

As the sole charity featured on FOX Sports’ 2009 NFL broadcasts, City of Hope will become a household name to millions of football fans.

Throughout the regular season and playoffs, City of Hope will be featured during Sunday football broadcasts and in public service announcements set to air on FOX news, sports and entertainment stations.

FOX NFL Sunday personalities Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson and Curt Menefee recently visited City of Hope to record a segment about the FOX Sports Supports partnership and the importance of supporting cancer research.

Fans can visit www.cityofhope.org/FOX to participate in the FOX Sports Weekly Picks Challenge, an interactive, Web-based game designed to showcase the partnership and promote City of Hope’s mission. And with any gift of $5 or more online, fans can receive a City of Hope lapel pin like those worn by analysts on the NFL on FOX.
