City of Hope employees are invited to join an elite group at this year’s Los Angeles Walk for Hope — the Pink Carpet Club.

Membership in the Pink Carpet Club includes a light breakfast before the Oct. 8 event, pizza afterward, and the satisfaction of contributing to City of Hope. Walk for Hope — now celebrating its 10th anniversary in the Los Angeles area — is a five-kilometer walk and one-mile leisure walk in Duarte that raises funds in quest of a cure for breast cancer.

To join the Pink Carpet Club, employees must start their own Walk team or join an existing team. Friends and family members of City of Hope employees also can join the club by signing up for a team.

Participants are eligible for incentive prizes, and every participant gets a T-shirt. Organizers urge participants to sign up for a team by early October.
