Artful gift — City of Hope’s Glenda Hale (left) and Ji-Cheng Wang display an original work of art created and donated by Chinese artist Zhonglin Zhao. City of Hope’s Art Committee and the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, as well as board member Ernie So, recently accepted the work — the first original painting contributed to Helford Clinical Research Hospital of City of Hope. The representation of a poem in ancient Chinese pictograph script reads, “The ocean is the realm for the dragon, the clouds are the home for the crane.”
