Institution hailed for boosting quality of life

The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership recently honored City of Hope with its Quality of Life award.

Partnership members presented City of Hope representatives with the award at a dinner at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort in City of Industry, Calif., on Oct. 12. The event featured noted writer, scholar and California historian Kevin Starr as keynote speaker.

The San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership is a nonprofit corporation representing both public and private sectors whose mission is to sustain the regional economy for all 30 cities in the San Gabriel Valley, as well as businesses, academic institutions and residents.
