Terrace construction calls for patience from drivers

Because builders cannot carry needed materials for the Rita Cooper Finkel & J. William Finkel Pediatric Family Terrace through the hospital, they will use a large crane to lift materials from street to roof level.

That means road closures and occasional inconvenience in the construction area until according to City of Hope leaders.

Builders have set up the crane south of the hospital near the ambulance ramp, and the and parking spaces just south of the hospital building are closed periodically to pedestrians vehicles. Security staff at the east and west closures help direct traffic around the closure. Pedestrians should exercise caution near the site.

Visitors to the hospital should enter through the front entrance or the entrance next to Bistro. Please contact Project Administration at ext. 68943 for additional information.
