City of Hope recently launched an advertising campaign to retain and attract expert nurses.
The Nurse Executive Team — headed by Larry R. Kidd, R.N., vice president of patient care services and chief nurse executive — unveiled campaign posters, which feature individuals and teams from all clinical areas.
Launched locally in May during National Nurses Week, the campaign invites colleagues to contact featured nurses to hear directly why they chose to practice at City of Hope. This “Ask Them” campaign evolved from a series of interviews with nurses at all levels of experience and from all areas of practice, research and education.
The campaign will launch nationally in major nursing journals in August. It aims to raise awareness of City of Hope as a premier cancer center and to invite nurses to explore professional opportunities at the institution. City of Hope advertising will appear in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, Oncology Nursing Forum, Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing and International Transplant Nurses Society Newsletter, among others.
