Kidney cancer patients, caregivers and health professionals listen as scientists discuss the latest developments in research about the disease at a conference at the Platt Conference Center. The Kidney Cancer Program and the Kidney Cancer Association co-sponsored the day-long patient and survivor conference on Nov. 17. More than 65 people attended the conference, which highlighted recent advances in kidney cancer biology and new treatments, as well as psychological and social aspects of coping with kidney cancer.
