Neither rain nor sleet nor lack of golf could stop The International Forum from demonstrating its commitment to City of Hope.

On Jan. 16, forum President Simon Singer, C.F.P., and the more than 300 members of the group presented a gift of $40,000 to benefit City of Hope at The International Forum 2007 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.

The International Forum is composed of high-level financial planners and leading producers in the life insurance profession.

“The International Forum wanted to do something to give back to the community,” Singer said. “We decided that we could do so by combining a fun, charity golf tournament with our annual educational event.”

Although inclement weather prompted organizers to cancel the golf tournament, member donations and sponsorships by PartnersFinancial and Credit Suisse enabled the group to make its gift to City of Hope.
