Information about cancer abounds on the Internet, in magazines and on television. To simplify the chore of finding accurate cancer information, City of Hope created new brochures for patients, caregivers and others.
Each brochure focuses on a specific disease along with its risk factors, symptoms, early detection and screening, if appropriate, as well as treatment options. They feature a brief summary about care and patient services available at City of Hope, and how to become a patient.
The brochures also include information about ways to support City of Hope’s search for new treatments and cures.
The new brochures are available behind the guest services deck in the Main Medical Building, on the first, second and third floors of the Geri and Richard Brawerman Center for Ambulatory Care, in the cafeteria, near the elevators by Corner Café and next to the pharmacy.
New brochures cover these topics:
Gastric (stomach) cancer
Upcoming brochures will cover these areas:
Head and neck cancer
