Country music fans can kick up their heels for both City of Hope and singer Billy Ray Cyrus at the Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards show, airing April 14.

Before the show airs, fans can go online to view the country music nominees in 12 categories. Fan votes determine the winning country music artist in each category.

CMT will make a donation to each winning artist’s charity of choice, and Billy Ray Cyrus selected City of Hope as his charity.

He is nominated for “Tearjerker Video of the Year” for his bittersweet love song by a father to his daughter, who is spreading her wings for a life of her own. Cyrus’ daughter is popular teenage pop singer Miley Cyrus.

April 11 is the deadline for voting on www.cmt.com/cmt-music-awards.
