 L’Oréal Paris, City of Hope partner to “Beat the Odds”

Staff, faculty, patients and other members of the City of Hope community are invited to attend Beat the Odds, an evening to commemorate ovarian cancer awareness month.

L’Oréal Paris and City of Hope will host the event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the L’Oréal Paris store in the Beverly Center mall in West Hollywood, Calif.

Highlights include complimentary skin-care consultations and mini-makeovers, as well as presentations by Lydia Evans, M.D., consulting dermatologist for L’Oréal Paris, Robert J. Morgan, M.D., co-director of the Gynecologic Oncology/Peritoneal Malignancy Program at City of Hope, and other guests.

Speakers will discuss signs and symptoms of women’s cancers, as well as treatment advances against these diseases.
