An Elvis impersonator serenades City of Hope nurses gathered at Cooper Auditorium in celebration of Nurses Day. Held May 7, the event coincided with National Nurses Week, May 6 to 12 (the birthday of Florence Nightengale).

City of Hope’s Hawaiian-themed festivities included refreshments, prizes and entertainment including hula dancers. The annual event honors the dedication and commitment of the medical center’s nursing corps. (Photo by Thomas Brown)
