In the pre-dawn hours of Memorial Day, thousands of bicycle riders took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles to participate in the Acura LA Bike Tour, part of the Los Angeles Marathon. To help raise funds and awareness, 125 participants rode on behalf of ThinkCure, the official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Stephen Forman, M.D., Francis and Kathleen McNamara Distinguished Chair in Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation, rode his bike for the City of Hope team, along with Larry Couture, Ph.D., Bob Hawks, Robert Morgan Jr., M.D., Jill Olausson, R.N., B.S.N., Arthur Riggs, Ph.D., Krisia Rivas, Vanae Sainz and Juan-Sebastian Saldivar, M.D.
“I am very proud to ride for the City of Hope team,” said Forman. “It was a great morning to tour the streets of Los Angeles, helping to raise much needed funds for research and awareness through ThinkCure.”
ThinkCure is a nonprofit that raises funds for cancer research at City of Hope and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
