Caped crusaders, boy wonders and representatives of a galaxy far, far away prepare to entertain kids at the 12th annual pediatric cancer survivors’ picnic. City of Hope’s Department of Pediatrics held the annual event June 6 at Griffith Park’s Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum.

City of Hope staff, patients and their family members dressed up as superheroes and had photos taken with costumed characters while enjoying plenty of food, drinks, live entertainment, crafts and carnival games at the event, themed “Cartoon and Comic Carnivale.” (Photo by AmyCantrell.com)
