The 50-city tour features “American Idol” finalists from season eight: Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre.

The opportunity comes to City of Hope in partnership with Tim Leiweke, president and chief executive officer of AEG. Leiweke is being honored by City of Hope with The Spirit of Life® Award, the institution’s most prestigious honor, which is given to community leaders for their significant commitment to those in need. Leiweke will be honored with the award in January 2010.

“We’re grateful for the support from the American Idols Live! Tour and these talented musical artists,” said Britta Bucholz, senior director of development. “This tour is yet another great example of the wonderful collaboration between the Music and Entertainment Industry and City of Hope.”

The American Idols Live! Tour 2009 concludes Sept. 15. Tickets are available through www.ticketmaster.com.
