A few spots are still open for City of Hope staff and their family members and friends to play in a golf tournament that supports City of Hope’s and Duarte’s float in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade.

The City of Hope/City of Duarte Rose Float Committee will present its 20th Annual Golf Tournament on Nov. 6 at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena, Calif. Proceeds from the event will enable City of Hope and Duarte to be represented with a float in the nationally televised parade on Jan. 1, 2010.

The tournament’s title sponsor is Image 2000. Other sponsors include Ameriprise Financial, Burrtec, Impress Communications, Office Depot, Royal Oaks Manor, United Rock Products, Vulcan, Wal-Mart and Waste Management.

Interested participants are encouraged to sign up soon because tournament spots are selling out quickly.

The cost per golfer is $150 and includes a continental breakfast, goody bag, photo, barbeque lunch, on-course beverages and snacks, and cart and green fees.
