Sales of TIGI line’s S-Factor products benefit City of Hope.
Just in time for breast cancer awareness month, City of Hope has launched new cause marketing programs including salon and food products. Programs include promotions with TIGI/S-Factor and the Mushroom Council.

The fall “Dream for a Cure” promotion from TIGI line’s S-Factor, which features donations from sales of high-end hair conditioner to distributors ($2 per item), has raised nearly $20,000 for breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope.

The Mushroom Council is demonstrating its support in the fight against breast cancer by donating $50,000 to research by Shiuan Chen, Ph.D., director of the Division of Tumor Cell Biology, on the cancer-fighting potential of mushrooms. This donation is part of a consumer promotion in which participating mushroom growers from the Mushroom Council will package their mushrooms in pink containers. These special mushroom packs will be available at participating retailers nationwide until mid-November.
