Tanya Marvin aims to stay on par as her colleague, Kim Proescholdt, gauges her chances. The pair, both from the Communications Department, were two of more than 70 golfers who recently toured the links to raise funds for the City of Hope/City of Duarte Rose Parade float.

The 19th annual tournament at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena, Calif., raised more than $18,000 toward construction of the annual Rose Parade entry. Several generous corporate partners made the tournament possible, including title sponsor Image 2000, gold sponsor Walmart, and silver sponsors The Phelps Group, Compass and United Rock.
