Mando Guzman of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Century Station and George Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division duke it out during the recent “Fight for Life” event.

Held March 26 in Montebello, Calif., Fight for Life pitted police officers against sheriff’s deputies in seven boxing matches. The event raised about $50,000 for cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope, bringing total fundraising to about $900,000 since the law-enforcement fight night began 16 years ago. (Photo by AmyCantrell.com)
