A celebration of beauty
City of Hope patient Martha Duarte receives a makeover from Jessica Camper of Josie Maran Cosmetics at an Aug. 19 event at the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center.

Josie Maran Cosmetics marked the launch of its “Get One Give One” (GOGO) initiative with complimentary beauty consultations for 16 City of Hope cancer patients and survivors. For every GOGO mascara tube sold, the company will donate another to a City of Hope cancer patient or survivor. After 5,000 units are sold, $1 from every GOGO mascara sale through August 2012 will benefit women’s cancers research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope. (Photo by Fred Lee)
