Putting for the parade

Nearly 70 golfers strived to outdrive, outplay and outlast each other on the links at the San Dimas Canyon Golf Club on Nov. 5 during the annual City of Hope/City of Duarte Rose Float Golf Tournament. The event raised about $20,000 for a joint entry into the Rose Parade. Supporters included title sponsor Image 2000, as well as gold sponsors Sodexo and Vanir Construction, lunch sponsor Twining Laboratories, golf cart sponsor Burrtec and silver sponsor Pacific Rim Mechanical Contractors Inc. (Photo by Fred Lee)
