Six-year-old Andrew Lau lets his electric razor do the talking as he starts to give Arcadia Fire Department firefighter Drew Pryor a close shave. Lau was one of three City of Hope pediatric patients who took part in a St. Baldrick’s event at Matt Denny’s Ale House in Arcadia, Calif., on March 9 to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

Volunteers for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a national charity, have their heads shaved at an annual event to show solidarity with children fighting cancer. Monies they raise go to entities like the Children’s Oncology Group, which supports research at City of Hope. (Photo by p.cunningham)
