Take a swing at cancer

Sports enthusiasts, celebrities and philanthropists alike faced off against a common opponent — cancer — while honoring boxing greats Micky Ward, Jake LaMotta and Jackie Kallen at the April 6 event at the Beverly Hilton, which raised more than $120,000 for City of Hope.

More than 320 people were entertained by master of ceremonies Robert Shapiro, two heavyweight boxing bouts and the celebrity matchup between Lopez and Lange.
