City of Hope employees and their friends and families can receive up to half off tickets to the L.A. County Fair — and help fight cancer, too.

The L.A. County Fair has teamed up with City of Hope to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, treatment and education. To get up to 50 percent off admission to the fair, visit www.cityofhope.org/lacountyfair and purchase tickets online using the promotional code COH4125 through Oct. 2.

City of Hope will receive $1 from every ticket sold through this special offer. The fair runs from Sept. 3 through Oct. 2 and will be held in Pomona, Calif.

“We’re extremely excited in partnering with City of Hope in the fight against cancer,” said Leslie Galerne-Smith, Fairplex communications and public relations manager. “Nearly 1.4 million people attended the L.A. County Fair last year. Raising awareness on health-related issues such as cancer is a critical role we play in the betterment of our community.”
