Members of the Latin Mambo Dancers perform during National Diversity Day at Heritage Park.
City of Hope celebrated the day for the first time on Oct. 7 with a campuswide event. Employees enjoyed a free lunch and entertainment with an international flavor. In addition to watching performances, attendees signed a “Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion” banner and helped create a diversity mosaic.

National Diversity Day encourages people to come together to embrace differences in religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality and culture.  (Photo by p.cunningham)
