Mordecai Dunst, M.D., makes sure to look sharp at a breakfast prepared in honor of City of Hope’s physicians.

Medical faculty mixed, mingled and noshed with colleagues and administrators at the Doctors’ Day breakfast on March 30 organized by City of Hope’s Hospitality Committee. Commemorations honoring physicians date back to 1933. The date officially was established as National Doctors’ Day by Congress and President George H.W. Bush in 1990. Williams appreciates the chance to explain the research and why it matters. “We absolutely need this kind of support to develop this novel technology to get it to the clinic,” he said.
