Gathering celebrates cancer survivorship

Imagine it as a sort of homecoming. Men, women and children who survived cancer — or who are living with the disease — are invited to celebrate their life, strength and courage at City of Hope’s Cancer Survivors Day.

The event will take place June 7 at the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From 11:30 a.m. to noon, Alexandra M. Levine, M.D., M.A.C.P., City of Hope’s chief medical officer, and a patient speaker will talk with attendees about the cancer experience.

No R.S.V.P. is required, and City of Hope survivors may drop by anytime during the event, which will include a raffle and light refreshments.
